Problem
One of the key challenges I faced was achieving real-time integration between Citi Business Online and QuickBooks. Users were burdened with manually matching transactions, often struggling to identify duplicates or missed entries, which not only increased the risk of errors but also consumed valuable time. Designing a solution that streamlined this process while reducing manual effort and errors became a central focus of the project.

Success Metrics
Task 1
Problem Financial reconciliation is largely manual at the moment and cumbersome. This poses a risk to the business as details can be missed or duplicated if this process is not automated.
Approach Designed a tool that automate the reconciliation of transactions at set frequency.
Success Metrics Users no longer feel overwhelmed by the complexity of financial reconciliation, as the tool enables them to reconcile and update transactions automatically or manually with ease and flexibility.
Task 2
Problem The additional login credentials adds unnecessary friction to onboarding and daily use, especially for users already authenticated through Citi Business Online.
Approach We streamlined the authentication process by integrating Citi Business Online's login mechanism directly into the platform.
Success Metrics Users feel more secure and relieved knowing they can access the platform using credentials they already trust, with no need to manage another password.
Task 3
Problem Users can manually pay to the suppliers if existing in quickbooks and or transfer the payments to their own account. no need to open another for payment transfers.
Approach Within this tool itself users can make the payment to the existing and new suppliers.
Success Metrics Users experience a sense of flow and convenience when managing payments, appreciating that they can complete transfers without leaving their primary workflow.
Task 2: User Login
How might we make the login simplified, so that user wont have to remember another credentials to log into the system? No cognitive load. My Answer: Login by Citi business code which Citi Business Online users already have when they opened their account.
Task 3: Seamless data flow
Business needs seamless flow of data exchange between Citi Business Online, Citi Integrator and QuickBooks for Information reporting and Payment transfers
Collaborative problem solving with the Team
The discussions arose concerning user effort.
To address this, I iterated through several phases and devised a solution with the project team: the implementation of payment initiation and payment status.
To make the payments within internal accounts and to wire transfer (domestic and foreign) user dont have to move another application. The entitled users will have access for payment and initiate the transfer
